Introduced by Team Associated in 1998, the RC12L3 - # 4015 - was a new lighter chassis design, with the new "dynamic strut" front end.
The 2WD pan car has a carbon fiber composite chassis and employs a ball differential, VSC micro coil spring over oil filled damper, friction dampener, titanium turnbuckles, alloy screws and tunable T-bar.
To race the Team Associated RC12L3, it requires a high level of tuning for improved stability when cornering, to keep it on the track and give you more grip under acceleration.
