Introduced by Traxxas in 2017, the Slash 4x4 VXL Short Course Truck - # 68086-4 - came with their Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) system, developed to make it easier to control the vehicle on slippery tracks, and was available with four pre-painted bodyshell options, namely - Mike Jenkins Edition, Mark Jenkins Edition, Racing Blue Edition and Fox Edition.

Factory assembled RTR, the model includes a VXL-3m ESC, Velineon 3500 Brushless Motor and TQi 2.4Ghz Radio System. A Battery and Charger to be purchased separately.
The 4WD model is shaft driven, on a molded plastic chassis, with gear type differentials, coil spring over oil filled dampers, universal joint drive-shafts, slipper clutch and a full set of ball bearings.
To get the best from the Traxxas Slash 4x4, it needs to be fine tuned, to provide precise steering response and improve grip when cornering, so you don't slide off the track.
