Introduced by Traxxas in 2015, the 1/16 Summit VXL Rock Monster Truck / Rock Crawler - # 72074-1 - was upgraded with a 2-amp DC Peak Detecting Fast Charger and Power Cell NiMH Battery with iD, and came factory assembled RTR, with a choice of four pre-painted ProGraphix Bodyshells, Velineon VXL-3m Waterproof ESC, 380 Brushless Motor, TQ 2.4Ghz 2-Channel Radio System and 2.2" Geode Wheels with Canyon AT Tires.

Shaft driven, the 4WD model is based on a molded composite chassis, with sealed gear type differentials, inboard positioned coil spring over oil filled dampers, slipper-clutch, universal joint drive-shafts and ball bearings.
To get the best from the Traxxas Summit VXL, it needs to be fine tuned, to provide precise steering response and improve grip when cornering, so you don't slide off the track.
