1/10 Scale Nitro Touring Car:
Thunder Tiger TS-4n Sport SC - BMW M3 GTR - 6180-F*
|
Introduced by Thunder Tiger in 2003, the BMW M3 GTR Touring Car - TTR 6180-F23 - based on the 4WD TS4N Sport SC (Super Combo) chassis, was available 100% pre-assembled RTR, with a pre-painted lexan Bodyshell and a PRO12-BXSP 2.1cc Pull-Start Engine and a 2-Channel Radio System.
PLEASE NOTE: An F* indicates that the Model code varies in different parts of the world. Any F number shown in this section is simply an example of an actual code number found for this model in my research.
For other TS-4n Thunder Tiger models, check out our Thunder Tiger Archive.
The 4WD model is three belt driven, on an alloy plate chassis, with black plastic radio plate and shock towers, gear type differentials, coil spring over oil filled plastic dampers, rear dogbones with front universal joint drive-shafts and a full set of ball bearings.
To get the best from the Thunder Tiger TS-4n, it needs to be fine tuned, to provide precise steering response and improve grip when cornering, so you don't slide off the track. Small changes can make huge advancements and our easy to understand guide will help you to the optimum Set-up for your individual driving style.

Hints, Tips and Information
Choosing a Transmitter
When you first started in RC, you may have purchased a package that came with the car kit, motor, battery, charger, ESC and radio system complete. The transmitter was probably just a basic steer wheel, or stick type, with nothing more than forward, reverse, left, right and simple trim settings to centralise the servo and ESC. |
Hints, Tips and Information
Maintain your Fuel System
Nitro engines need a regulated constant supply of fuel to run efficiently. If this supply is restricted or contaminated in any way, the engine will show problems in a number of ways. |
