Introduced by Thunder Tiger in 2007, the Nissan 350Z R-MOD - TTR 6194-F073 - based on the Tomahawk VX Rally / Touring Car Chassis, came factory assembled RTR, with a pre-painted lexan Bodyshell, a PRO-15BX Pull-Start Engine (later upgraded to a PRO-18BX 3.0cc) and Radio System.
PLEASE NOTE: An F* indicates that the Model code varies in different parts of the world. Any F number shown in this section is simply an example of an actual code number found for this model in my research.

The 4WD TT model is shaft driven, on a 2.5mm alloy plate chassis, with gear type differentials, coil spring over oil filled dampers, universal joint drive-shafts, 2-speed transmission and a full set of ball bearings.
To get the best from the Thunder Tiger Tomahawk VX, it needs to be fine tuned, to provide precise steering response and improve grip when cornering, so you don't slide off the track. Small changes can make huge advancements and our easy to understand guide will help you to the optimum Set-up for your individual driving style.

Hints, Tips and Information
Rubber Tires for RC Models
Rubber Tires ALWAYS should have either soft sponge or rubber inserts. They will not function as they should without them. And if you are totally serious about your racing they should be glued to the rims. How to Mount Rubber Tires onto Wheels/Rims.
Before mounting your Tires, I would recommend talking to the more experienced racers at your local club, concerning what inserts they use. Even the top level racers rely on a bit of local knowledge on tracks they have never raced before. |
Hints, Tips and Information
Ride Height
To allow the suspension on any RC model to do its work properly, it needs to ride in a position where it is able to react to any bumps and holes it may encounter on the track. Therefore, it needs to be adjusted to somewhere in-between those limits. That position is commonly termed "ground clearance" or "ride height" and is generally measured as the distance between the underside of the chassis and the ground, with the motor and battery etc installed. |
