1/10 Scale Electric Rally/Touring Car:
CEN Zoom 10 EP
|
Introduced by CEN in 2012, the Zoom 10 EP was available with a number of bodyshell options, originally in 2012 including the Subaru WRX - # 10001, Ford GT - # 10002 - Mercedes CLK-DTM - # 10003. (NOTE: these model numbers have changed over the years)
The 4WD model is shaft driven, on a double deck chassis, with gear type differentials, coil spring over oil filled dampers, 540 brushed motor, ESC and 2.4Ghz radio system.
To race the CEN Zoom 10 EP, it requires a high level of tuning for improved stability when cornering, to keep it on the track and give you more grip under acceleration. Even the smallest change in your cars settings can make a Big difference. Our simple to follow instruction chart will show how to attain the best Set-up for your personal requirements.

Hints, Tips and Information
Choosing a Transmitter
When you first started in RC, you may have purchased a package that came with the car kit, motor, battery, charger, ESC and radio system complete. The transmitter was probably just a basic steer wheel, or stick type, with nothing more than forward, reverse, left, right and simple trim settings to centralise the servo and ESC. |

Rubber Tires for RC Models
Rubber Tires ALWAYS should have either soft sponge or rubber inserts. They will not function as they should without them. And if you are totally serious about your racing they should be glued to the rims. How to Mount Rubber Tires onto Wheels/Rims.
Before mounting your Tires, I would recommend talking to the more experienced racers at your local club, concerning what inserts they use. Even the top level racers rely on a bit of local knowledge on tracks they have never raced before. |
