1/10 Scale Nitro Monster Truck:
CEN Fun Factor MT
|
First introduced in 2001, the CEN "Fun Factor" MT (Monster Truck) series were available as either 2WD or Shaft Driven 4WD. There were three model options - the MT - # 9232 - 2WD - RTR, the MT - # 9234 - 4WD - RTR, both with pistol grip radio and the MT - # 9234B - 4WD - ARR, that came without radio.
NOTE: The early "Fun Factor" Series and the later "NX Series", share a high number of parts, the numbers and codes for which, can be found in the NX manual, exploded view and parts list.
The anodised alloy chassis for the "Fun Factor" Monster Truck models, employed coil spring over oil filled dampers, gear differentials and the RTR versions came 99% pre assembled, with a .16 (2.6cc) Engine, 2 speed transmission and a full set of ball bearings.
To race the CEN Fun Factor MT, it needs to be tuned to perfection for better stability, precise steering and provide enough grip to keep you on the track when going around tight bends at high speed. Even the smallest adjustment can change the feel of a car and our simple to follow instructions will guide you to the best Set-up to get you to the front and keep you there.

Hints, Tips and Information
Getting into RC
When I first got into racing RC, all I had was a three year old clapped out Tamiya Boomerang, a silver can stock motor, three step mechanical speed controller, two 1400Mah stick batteries and basic Acoms stick transmitter. |
Hints, Tips and Information
Look after your Gears
In RC there are a number of different gear teeth sizes we tend to use, based on two systems. Imperial and metric. |
